This piece of music can set off the randomest of memories like fire to a string of crackers.A rogue streak of light, a lost piece of broken glass,an oddly shaped head,clueless evenings,a ribbon of cold air fighting past sticky humid air to wrap around your neck,the shock of missing a step,scampering out of a nightmare.I feel like it is not the library I am sitting in, but with my laptop on a table placed right in the middle of an unmindful orchestra.It tingles.It plays here, on my forehead,between the eyebrows,above the slight dip to the nose.
